NOTIFICATION AND CONSENT STATEMENT (“STATEMENT”) In this Statement, a reference to “Organisation”, “we”, “our” or “us” includes Organisation Group and its current and future related bodies corporate and affiliates. “You” or “your” refer to the person or persons giving this consent. Described below are the terms and conditions for obtaining access to certain parts of, or making use of certain features of the organisation website www.anytimefitness.com.au


Compliance with Privacy Obligations

This Privacy Statement sets out the policy of Anytime Australia Pty Ltd (Anytime Fitness) and its franchisees with respect to the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of Personal Information about our customers, franchisees and employees including through our website at www.anytimefitness.com.au

Anytime Fitness is bound by the National Privacy Principles set out in Schedule 3 of the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 (“the Act”). A copy of the National Privacy Principles may be obtained from the website of The Office of the Federal Privacy Commissioner at www.privacy.gov.au

Anytime Fitness is dedicated to ensuring that personal and sensitive information is gathered with respect to the individual and aims to exercise the highest standard of care in preserving privacy of information in all areas of operation.

The information about individual health collected by Anytime Fitness is handled in compliance with applicable State and Territory health records legislation.


What will your information be used for?

The information you provide on this site is collected by us for the purpose of considering you for employment or to update you on employment opportunities.
If your application is successful, we will retain your information as part of your employment records. If your application is unsuccessful, we may retain your information on file and may contact you if a suitable employment opportunity arises or if there are other positions available that may be of interest to you.

What information do we need from you?
To be considered for employment or to be updated on employment opportunities, you will be asked to provide us with personal information. This information includes but is not limited to:

  • Employment History
  • Referees
  • Results of Police Checks

If you choose not to provide any of the information requested, we will be unable to send you information, fully process your application or properly consider you for employment.
All information submitted to us must be true and correct. You must not post or upload inaccurate, incomplete, false or misleading information.


How your information will be collected?
We collect information from you when you complete the online application form as well as at other stages during the selection process. Any competency testing, medical questionnaires and your references are also collected. We require this information to be able to consider your application within our organisation and we will be unable to contact you to advise of your progress with the selection process without this information.


Storage and access of your information:
Your on-line information will be held by a Third Party Data Centre, and is only available for access by us. No access will be provided to any other outside party. Should you wish to change any of your details, this must be done online through your candidate profile. It is your responsibility to keep your information current.


Who your information may be disclosed to?
We may disclose the information you submit to referees, related companies and entities, recruitment agencies, and other relevant organisations who perform services on our behalf during the recruitment process.

The disclosure of your information is for the purposes of processing your application for employment and/or identifying other employment opportunities for you.
Other than as stated here, we will not disclose personal information you provide to any outside party, except where you provide your express permission to do so.
Any offer of employment will be subject to you obtaining all necessary clearances, licenses and permits required for your position.
